Lao Guo Taiwanese Hot Pot Restaurant - (老鍋台式火鍋) is a unique hot pot style that stands out from a highly competitive environment of over 50 hot pot restaurants in the same district.
This project spans brand identify, market positioning, user experience, space planning, visual, interior architecture, construction management, food presentation. We try to create a different format for the layout on the one hand, and introducing traditional Chinese architecture for partitioning, and create a translucent layering setting. This creates privacy for the customer and a mysterious visual effect and yet feels translucent. Every seating view and setting is different for the customer to enjoy the environment so each visit offers a unique dining experience to customers.
They are open since November 2016 and kept driving a high sales volume. It was listed as Weekly Best Rated - February 2017 on Openrice.
